Method
- Combine rolled oats, milk, chia seeds, maple syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla extract in a jar or container. Stir well to combine.
- Seal the container and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 4 hours.
- In the morning, stir the oats. If they are too thick, add a splash more milk.
- If using, mix the softened cream cheese and maple syrup together until smooth. Dollop on top of the oats.
- Enjoy cold.
Notes
You can adjust the sweetness to your preference. Feel free to add other toppings like chopped nuts or a sprinkle of extra cinnamon.
