Cook Time 10 minutes
Total Time 15 minutes
Servings: 4 pork chops
Course: Main Course
Cuisine: American

Ingredients

Pork Chops
  • 4 bone-in pork chops about 1-inch thick
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Tongs
  • Meat thermometer

Method

  1. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. This helps create a better sear.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Rub the olive oil all over the pork chops, then coat them evenly with the spice mixture.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Place the seasoned pork chops in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if necessary.
  6. Air fry for 8-12 minutes, flipping halfway through. The cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of your pork chops.
  7. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C) in the thickest part of the chop.
  8. Remove the pork chops from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute, making them more tender.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the spice rub. Serve with your favorite side dishes like mashed potatoes or a fresh salad.
