Lemon Garlic Drumsticks

Ingredients
  

For the Drumsticks
  • 2 lbs Chicken Drumsticks
For the Marinade
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper

Equipment

  • large bowl
  • Tongs

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add the chicken drumsticks to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly with the marinade. Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Place the marinated drumsticks on the preheated grill. Grill for about 15 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and has an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  5. Remove the drumsticks from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

You can adjust the amount of garlic and lemon juice to your preference. Serve with your favorite barbecue sides.
