  • 2 cans (21 ounce each) apple pie filling
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 package (15.25 ounce) spice cake mix
  • 1 cup salted butter melted
  • 1 cup walnuts coarsely chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. Spread the apple pie filling in an even layer on the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Drizzle the caramel sauce evenly over the apple pie filling.
  4. Sprinkle the spice cake mix evenly over the apples and caramel.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
  6. Sprinkle the chopped walnuts evenly over the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 55 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and the apple filling is bubbling through to the top.
  8. Let the cake cool for at least 15 minutes before serving. Serve warm or at room temperature.
