Ingredients

For the Salad
  • 2 balls burrata cheese at room temperature
  • 3 ripe peaches pitted and sliced
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves torn
  • 1/4 cup toasted pine nuts
For the Balsamic Glaze
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Equipment

  • Large platter
  • Small bowl
  • Whisk

Method

  1. Prepare the balsamic glaze: In a small saucepan, combine the balsamic vinegar and honey. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the glaze has thickened enough to coat the back of a spoon. Remove from heat and let cool.
  2. Arrange the burrata cheese balls on a large platter. Distribute the sliced peaches around the burrata.
  3. Scatter the torn basil leaves and toasted pine nuts over the peaches and burrata.
  4. Drizzle the cooled balsamic glaze generously over the entire platter.
  5. Chill the platter for at least 10 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

Serve immediately after chilling. You can also add a sprinkle of flaky sea salt for extra flavor.
