Peppermint Peach Iced Tea

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup water (8 ounces)
  • 1 cup lemonade (8 ounces)
  • 1 peppermint green tea bag
  • 1 peach herbal tea bag
  • 1 tablespoon pure honey
  • 1/8 teaspoon peppermint extract

Equipment

  • Small saucepan
  • Mug
  • Tea kettle

Method
 

  1. Heat the water and lemonade in a small saucepan on the stovetop. Alternatively, you can heat the liquids in a large mug in the microwave or use a tea kettle.
  2. Bring the water to a barely-there simmer.
  3. Add the two tea bags to the liquid and let them steep for 5 to 10 minutes.
  4. Stir in the honey and peppermint extract.
  5. Pour the hot tea into your favorite mug and enjoy.

Notes

This recipe is designed for busy individuals and can be prepared in advance. For an iced version, let the tea cool completely before serving over ice.
