Ingredients

For the Kabobs
  • 1.5 lbs Beef sirloin steak cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 large Red bell pepper cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 large Green bell pepper cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 large Yellow onion cut into 1-inch pieces
For the Marinade
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Equipment

  • Grill
  • Skewers
  • large bowl
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Method

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, oregano, black pepper, and salt. This is your marinade.
  2. Add the cubed steak, bell peppers, and onion to the bowl with the marinade. Toss to coat everything evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated steak and vegetables onto skewers, alternating the pieces. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before use to prevent burning.
  5. Grill the kabobs for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the steak is cooked to your desired doneness and the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  6. Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve these kabobs on their own, or with rice, quinoa, or a side salad for a complete meal.
