  • 2 teaspoons black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper to your preference. Arrange them in a medium oven-safe skillet. Top the pork chops with the sliced onions, sweet potatoes, and apples. Sprinkle the brown sugar over the top. Season with 2 teaspoons of black pepper and 1 teaspoon of salt.
  3. Cover the skillet and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the sweet potatoes are tender and the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
