Watermelon Slush

Ingredients
  

For the Slush
  • 4 cups frozen watermelon cubes
  • 1/2 cup water or more, as needed
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice optional
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave nectar optional, to taste

Method
 

  1. Place the frozen watermelon cubes, water, lime juice (if using), and sweetener (if using) into a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and slushy. Add more water, one tablespoon at a time, if needed to reach your desired consistency.
  3. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

To freeze watermelon, cut it into cubes and spread them in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Freeze until solid, then transfer to a freezer bag for storage.
